Jim Hunter is the author of 3 internationally best-selling books, The Servant; The World’s Most Powerful Leadership Principle and The Culture: Creating Excellence With Those You Lead.
His books are the texts used in many MBA and other higher education curriculum around the world, are translated into dozens of languages and have sold well over 5.5 million copies worldwide.
Jim completed his undergraduate work at Valparaiso University and pursued graduate studies at Wayne State University. Subsequent to his schooling, he served as the head of Human Resources for a large manufacturing company in Detroit. In 1985, Jim founded J.D. Hunter Associates, LLC, a leadership development and consulting firm which serves clients around the world.
Jim speaks to audiences on leadership as well as creating a culture of excellence through growing leaders and building high-performing teams. Over the past 30+ years, he has personally instructed and coached hundreds of executives in developing the skills of servant Leadership.
His clients include many of the world’s most admired organizations including the FBI, American Express, Johnson & Johnson, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, the Defense Intelligence Agency and all four (4) branches of the United States Military.
