For the past 20 years, Anne has guided entrepreneurs, companies, and government leaders on strategy, leadership, and organizational change. She has also put her own theory into practice: as Founder and CEO of GenePeeks, Anne built a computational genomics company developing breakthrough ways to identify disease risk.
Anne is the best-selling coauthor of Uncommon Service, Unleashed, and the newly released Move Fast & Fix Things: The Trusted Leader’s Guide to Solving Hard Problems. Anne and her coauthor, Frances Frei, recently launched Fixable, a leadership advice podcast from the TED Audio Collective that helps guest callers solve workplace problems – in 30 minutes or less. On Fixable, Anne and Frances diagnose callers’ leadership challenges and help them make progress with quick, actionable coaching.
Anne serves on several not-for-profit boards, including the national Board of IGNITE, which works to increase the political engagement of young women. She received her BA from Brown University and MBA from Harvard Business School. Anne has been recognized by Thinkers50 as among the world’s most influential business thinkers.
