Patrick Halford keynote speaker

Patrick Halford leads Gaoithe Advisory, applying evolving generative AI thought leadership at the intersection of industry, funding and partnerships, together with a global network of expert partners. He is a Strategic Advisor at Next CoLabs North America, and EMpact Studio accelerator based in Washington DC, Côte d'Ivoire and Guatemala. Patrick also works for Singularity Group California as an expert in GenAI/Organisational impact.

He brings 7 years or experience leading teams of technology funding specialists across healthtech, electronics, smart cities, robotics/drones and defence consortia, plus his time as an evaluator and participant in research-to-commercialisation funded projects.

He combines his funding expertise with partnership development skills across corporates, SMEs, startups, universities and international research institutions, with a special focus on the commercialisation of research.

At his core, he has a deep understanding of how converging exponential technologies are, and will, impact workflows, P&Ls and industries, which is where his expertise in generative AI comes in to play, guiding Boards and Senior Leadership Teams with their evolving mindsets, skillsets and toolsets.

Halford also brings 20 years in various leadership positions in IBM and 5 years in telecoms, combined with being an expert at the Singularity Group (AI and the future of work), Advisory positions at global funding and technology organisations, and his experience as a guest lecturer in AI/Leadership at Hanken & SSE and Riga & Stockholm School of Economics.

He is a frequent international industry & technology conference and podcast moderator, as well as a published author.
