Jara is bridging the global digital divide by developing the Jara Unit, an innovative e-learning solution designed for children in communities facing high levels of poverty, limited electricity, and sparse internet access worldwide. It is a sustainable, crank-powered, and solar-powered off-grid educational device that ensures children have continuous access to e-learning and remote education. With the support of LG, Intel, Cisco, Deloitte, Deepak Chopra, and others, Jara is committed to providing equitable and uninterrupted education to the 800 million children, particularly girls, who were deprived of schooling during the pandemic. Their mission extends to under-resourced areas, refugee camps, and disaster-stricken zones, striving to break the cycle of poverty and help children achieve their dreams.
